There's been a lot of rain in Indy the last few days. We thought our gently sloping yard had no puddles. It's nice to not have to worry about water drainage.
Actual conversation while grilling tonight:
Heidi: why is Bear sitting in the far corner?
Jonathan: maybe cuz it's shaded there
Heidi: she's so weird, why is she rolling?
It wasn't the shade.
There's a puddle, a tiny, shallow one, in the corner of the yard.
Now we know.
And, we also discovered Barley doesn't like to be sprayed down with water hoses. Of course. How convenient.
