Evelyn had her 12 month check-up last night and passed with flying colors! She is a very healthy little girl! Amazing to think of all the changes over the last year. Our little girl only weighed 6.4 lbs at birth!! Now she is:
Weight: 22.25 lbs = 65th percentile
Height: 29 in = 39th percentile
Head: 45.2 cm = 49th percentile
Height: 29 in = 39th percentile

She did have to have 2 vaccine shots and her flu shot as well as test her blood and her hearing. Whoa, too much poking and prodding! She was a trooper, but it was one thing after the next and she clung to mommy like she never had before. She made it through with lots of tears and her loud scream letting the other kids know that they shouldn't let those nurses touch them! But she left smiling. The best thing about Evelyn is that she lets you know how she's feeling and when she's upset, but you can make her laugh and smile very quickly!
Funny story on the way out- there was mom and daughter checking out ahead of us. The mom was talking to the receptionist and was saying "We were happy not be in that next room because whatever they were doing to that poor child sounded awful and it was just one thing after the next!" She didn't think it could possibly be our sweet Evelyn because she was smiling by this point, but sure enough it was us in the next room! Most of you know Evelyn is very loud so I'm sure it scared that little girl ahead of us! :)
