15 Month Stats

Evelyn had her 15-month check-up last week. She definitely went through a major growth spurt these last few months!

Weight: 25.4 lbs = 80%

Length: 32.5 in = 92% (we even measured her twice to make sure that was right!)

Head: 46cm = 48%

She loves to drink milk and I think she may have been drinking too much milk! But it was definitely helping her grow! Evelyn loves to eat her fruits and vegetables and eats pretty well overall. You know she's not hungry when she sits right down and starts throwing her food off the tray to feed Barley. We've taught Barley to "stay" during mealtime and she'll sit by the island and wait for us to give her the command and then she can go clean up Evelyn's mess. It's working really well. Evelyn is also learning her signs and verbalizing so much more these days. She does the signs for more and milk. She'll wave hello and goodbye. She'll blow kisses and make the "mwah" sound. She can say "bye bye", "wa-wa", "nigh-nigh" and tries to mimic anything you say. She is totally a sponge these days and it seemed to happen overnight! She has always been a vocal little girl, but it's so neat to start to understand what she is saying!
