Easters growing up are imprinted so vividly in my mind. It's been years and still every Easter I think of the same things: my Grandfather's home, the smell of vinegar and crayons, early mornings and bunny tracks, epic battles for the golden egg, new outfits and church, tearful renditions of "I Know That My Redeemer Lives", walks by the lake, and family.
I only hope we can create the same memories for Evelyn. We'll try; we'll start here, we'll start with love, and mix in some bunny footprints, Sunday dresses, spring days, and church services. We'll sprinkle over it with thankfulness to Jesus, and hope it works, and she remembers beautiful Easters.
We love you Evelyn. Happy Easter Everyone.
