It turns out our Littlest Ehlke doesn't have such a little personality after all. Seemingly overnight, Lydia has turned into a big laugher, talker, speaker-of-her-mind-er. We're delighted by her revelation, her apparent decision to come out of her shell.
She's just loving life these days, laughing and smiling all the time. Let's be honest, that wasn't always the case before. She was more an impartial observer than anything else. Nowadays she's a little sillier, which we're a big fan of in the Ehlke household.
She plays to the crowd,
claps her hands,
knows what makes her happy. She's a big girl and she knows what she wants.
Sometimes she thinks that is piece of chocolate cupcake,
but mostly she wants to be held, and more than anything she wants to spend time with her big sister.
We're glad you could join us Lydia. You continue to surprise us; and the delightful part is, you're far lovelier than we could have imagined.

Love this, especially the sister photos! Amelia was visiting my parents for a few days last week and Ingrid didn't know what to do with herself! (p.s. Is that an Abe Lincoln shirt?? I adore it!)
Sisters are the best and it's so fun watching how much in love they are at such a young age! Yes that is an Abe Lincoln shirt, good eye!
