- Lydia got her first tooth in mid-April
- She also began to crawl in mid-April
- Beginning of May she started pulling up on everything
- Our girl is a climber! She is very thoughtful when climbing and manages to gracefully sit back down each time
- She started whole milk and was fully transitioned before her 1st birthday
- We also found out she has a bad ear infection...too much partying I guess :)
- She is a great sleeper and loves her morning nap, sleeping about 2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon
- She buries her little face into all her blankets in her bed and practically stands on her head to cuddle in to sleep
- She eats about anything and isn't too picky just yet.
- At dinnertime she'll sit and eat for about an hour eating non-stop!
- She loves to hug stuffed animals especially Evelyn's new big bear named "Happy Face"
- She is really into her pacifier and wants it when she is going to bed
- She prefers to be down on the ground crawling around and exploring wherever we are, and her scuffed up knees are proof of that!
- She loves watching big sis play, but has learned how to fight back for the toys she wants by yelling at Evelyn and turning on her pout to get what she wants
- My favorite time of the day is putting Lydia to bed when she cuddles in for a close hug and pats my back and wants to stand there swaying with me, it doesn't take long, but a little closeness before bedtime and she is happy to get in her crib and settle in for the night
- The other night she just started playing peek-a-boo with a blanket and laughing hysterically when you say "Where's Lydia?"
- She is also becoming more vocal, but not saying many words yet, but just letting us know she is around and how she feels about something
Lydia is so full of personality and this phase is so much fun! She is changing daily and it seems in the last month she has really grown so much physically and emotionally. She doesn't seem in any rush to learn how to walk, but she wants to be up on her feet standing or climbing so I know she'll figure it out soon! Lydia is a true blessing and we are so thankful she is a part of our family! We love you Lydia!!
