Leaving her behind

Yesterday, Jon and I flew to Atlanta for a friend's wedding and a long weekend with friends. As excited as we were to get to our old home, we were very sad to have to leave Evelyn home. Weekend get aways and adult time are important, but I didn't realize how sad I'd be to not see Evelyn's smiling face all day! But she is in great hands with Mimi and Grandpa Car, and cousin Victoria. Mimi is keeping us posted on all the latest happenings and we are relaxing and catching up with old friends.
I'm sure the girls are enjoying their weekend together!
