It's a lot of fun having maternity leave during the summer! There are lots of things going on and I don't want to miss a thing because summer goes by too quickly and so does maternity leave! So I spent the day with my mom and then my parents came with me and the girls to the Fishers Concert in the Park.
Fast asleep, Lydia usually has her left arm hanging down and the other near her face.
When Evelyn sits down somewhere and there is a blanket nearby, she wants that blanket covering her up so she can snuggle up in it.
...even if its a baby bouncy seat
Evelyn carries Lamby and binkie around a lot more since Lydia arrived and she's even taken to putting Lamby in her high chair and buckling Lamby in. She's such a good mama.

How did I get so lucky to have another good sleeper? Lydia (or Lyd-ie as Evelyn refers to her) slept for 5 1/2 hours the other night!! Our plan was for Jon to get up when Lydia was fussy in the middle of the night and it's not time for a feeding. I think Jon has been able to peacefully sleep through the night since our 2nd day home!
She's got the right idea and stays awake for several hours in the afternoon/early evening so she can sleep longer stretches at night.
Such a perfect night to sit outside with a picnic dinner, a cold beverage and listen to music...and chase a busy Evelyn around!
Evelyn wanted to get right out front and dance. She also likes to walk around on her tiptoes.
...and she likes men and boys. She walks up to random men and will sing and dance a little. And then she went and sat right down with these boys like she knew them and wanted to join in their game of cards. We might be in trouble!!
