Sandy came back to Indy with us last week and we really enjoyed having her around! She was such a big help. Evelyn loves Granma soooo much and had a blast being entertained by Granma for a few days. Plus, it gave me some freedom to run some errands and take care of some other things around the house that I otherwise can only complete during naptime or evenings. Plus, Jon and I were able to enjoy a date night out. It was amazing to reflect on our time with two little ones and how different our lives are from less than two years ago when we were up in Chicago and Sandy visited when Evelyn was first born. We had a fancy dinner out in Chicago and this time we ventured to a suburbia staple, Olive Garden! Full of teenagers and lots of kids! :)
Thank you for all your help Granma! Especially for helping us complete Lydia's room! She now has a bedskirt, book sling, and throw pillows all handmade with love by Granma! The morning Granma left Evelyn was in quite a mood and pretty sad to see Granma go. She stood by the window and was asking "where'd Granma go?"
I didn't capture all the excitment from the visit but having an extra hand around made it easier to capture moments with both of the girls.
