New Chapter

These last few days have been a challenge as we prepare for a new chapter in our lives. The girls caught a bad stomach bug from daycare and it hit us hard on Saturday night. Jon's surgery is tomorrow and therefore he couldn't risk catching any illnesses so it left us separated. Jon headed into work on Sunday morning early so he could get out of the house of germs! Evelyn had been up puking throughout the night and Lydia had gotten sick the evening before. And since then Jon has been staying at my parents house to keep healthy. It's very sad to be apart but we know it's best not to risk it. The girls are hanging in there and I'm still healthy which is a shock after taking care of two very sick girls all day Sunday and Monday. We miss daddy! So tomorrow is the start of a new chapter as Jon gets his cochlear implant. We know he is in good hands with a great surgeon and we pray for a speedy recovery and everyone to be healthy so he can come home to his healthy girls tomorrow night.
