Happiness Project

Life's quite the grind these days, wake up, daycare, work hard, make dinner, bath night, dishes, laundry, no don't do that, say please, use your big girl voice, clear your plate, tell your sister sorry, why are you screaming, don't eat the toothpaste, etc etc on it goes.  But I want to remember it's also a lot of shake your booty, terrible knock knock jokes, another huggy,  laughter, lots of, uncontrollable laughter, farting is funny, unsolicited sharing, daddy watch me, racing, piggyback rides, did you just lick me juliet, games, silliness, joy.  Joy we don't always have time for, or we'll forget the moment, or be too tired to take a decent picture.  It's easy to not focus on the fact that these are the days, and we are having so much fun.

The girls are amazing.

So with that, this is our little Happiness Project.
One photo, every day for 30 days, of a moment to be grateful for.

We'll start with weekend sleepovers, every weekend now, in rotating rooms.  With Evelyn leading story time.

"Fine, if it's SOOOOOOOOOOOO important to you, I'll take a bath"
